Ans:-Divid copperfield is the most important character in the novel entitled after his name.He is such a central character that all other characters and events move around him.As such,he is the hero of the novel,.David’s childhood is not all a happy one.he was born after the death of his father.however he was able to get all the love and affection of his mother.although he had no father,he was happy with his mother.but even this happiness did not last long as his mother married another man called Mr. Murdstone.David’s life became miserable.his step-father beat him everyday.he was send to the school of mr. creakle ,who was more cruel than Murdstone.at school he was insulted.he had another shocked when he was informed that his mother died.he was withdrawn from the school. At the age of ten only david forced to work in unhealthy surrounding at murdstone and grinby’s.he was paid merely six shillings a week to support himself.David,finally runs to dover to see his aunt betsy.after days journey he reached there.however,his ownaunt felt the call of blood and accepted him.david is an ambitious boy.hewished to be property educated and get a place in the society.with the help of his aunt he succeeds in gatting both.as a lover david was true and sincere.he fell in love with dora at first sight,he married her but he died after one and a half year.when she was ill he nursed herday and night.after her death he met agnes who loved her.he married her and remained a devoted husband. Thus david after many ups and downs achieves although he wished.the story of david looks a fairy tale.
